Meet the help-desk technician from hell.

How is the IT department at your job? Do they fix things promptly, do they explain things to you so that you understand the problem? Or are you such a Screen Saver that you end up explaining a few things to them?
Well, no matter the situation, I am 100 percent positive that your experience can't be worse than those who work with George, the worst help-desk technician ever.
The Chronicles of George was put together by a co-worker of George (not his real name) who was so fascinated by the lack of intelligence, laziness, and basic thought process exerted by his fellow desktop supporter that he needed to share the comedy with the rest of the world.
The site consists of a detailed explanation of George, a FAQ sheet that will make you cry with laughter, a board for posting your own tech-support horror stories, and the meat of the site, actual screen grabs of some of George's help request tickets.
The tickets are just plain bizarre. They have explanations and sort-of-solutions for people's problems, except they don't make any sense, are ruthlessly misspelled, and adhere to some strange, made-up grammar.
It really makes you wonder how this person made it at this company more than a year! The explanation for that is on the site, too. Apparently, the situation was so bad that users would call the help desk with a problem, and if George answered, they'd hang up and call back immediately so that the phone cycled to a different help-desk technician. So funny!
High tech ha ha!
For more tech funnies, YuckItUp is a safe bet. You can read stories submitted by IT people regarding the dumb situations people get themselves into. Also, you can learn fun facts about computer companies such as: "Compaq is considering changing the command 'Press Any Key' to 'Press Return Key' because of the flood of calls asking where the 'Any' key is."
The site also provides funny pics perfect for emailing to your friends at work, fun clicking games that look like error messages, and a long list of excuses you can give for falling asleep at your desk.
